I believe it was said that the amount of underground utilities running in that northwest corner make any sort of tunnel through the hill impractical.

That's what I heard from Pollard on the tailgate tour stop in Omaha. Tunnel will come out somewhere on the ramp that visitors currently walk down.

I was pretty sure the tunnel was to connect to the Jac. and They'd walk down the sidewalk into the stadium. Thus entering pretty much like always.

He told a group of us that it would connect to the west side at some point and our guys would then walk down the ramp that the visitors currently use. The teams would then cross to get to their respective sidelines. You can see the location of the tunnel in the renderings.
