I agree about Phil Steele... I got a chance to pick up his magazine and read the Iowa State section, and he clearly didn't know what he was talking about. He summarized his overall team preview with (and I'm paraphrasing), "The Cyclones have surpassed my expectations both years since Paul Rhoads got to Ames, but given this year's circumstances, I expect them to have another losing season."

I understand why he would say that, but you would think that if he claims to be the most accurate in preseason magazines, that he would do more research to try and figure out what he's not accounting for with a team that's doing better than he has predicted two years in a row. I picked up the magazine expecting to buy it, but then I put it back.
