    Those are always great listens. If AA isn't on the CF payroll he should be (as long as it's not some sort of NCAA rules violation).

    A "soft" QB pancaking one of AA's safeties. (~1:20)

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMH8fy45Dxg]YouTube - ‪2008 Baylor Football Highlights‬‏[/ame]

    Statline from the one game Griffin has played against ISU:
    Griffin - 21/24 278 2TD's passing 1 rushing and 0 picks
    Arnaud - 21/41 176 1TD 1 pick

    Bitter much?
    And I've never heard a QB say he wants to build a running team, haha. Says a lot.

    speaking of chiz****....i had a dream last night that he was in a kohls/jcpenny/younkers type of store here in ames (yes i realize we dont have most of those stores) and i beat him with a part from a clothes rack until he admitted that auburn cheated and that scam newton knew his daddy got paid. the police ended up arresting him and letting me go. i was really disappointed when i woke up and realized it was a dream

    Chris; I love hearing Austen tell stories about his time at ISU. Do you think you could do an entire podcast with just him telling stories?

    This might be my favorite feature on CF. You won't find this anywhere else for any sport on any site. You want insight into the team? Just ask the guy who started at QB for the past 3 years. Awesome.

    Love the discussions with AA. I'm not an A&M homer (just work here) but I'm going to agree with AA on A&M having a big chance of winning the Conference title.

    Re: Williams/Arnaud Podcast: On Hollis, Chizik book, Big 12 QB's & more

    It is nice to get AA's opinion on GC. As most of us thought his coordinators should not have been coordinators. GC was and is a good coach, but he just did not know how to play with the players that ISU had, and traditionally gets. I don't blame him for going to Auburn, it was obviously a great opportunity for him. He are probably surprised by the interview and then the offer. I am sure it was hard to tell the players that he was leaving, after just saying he was committed to the program. If he had been caught cheating on his wife, he would have had a hard time coming up with what to say, and in that respect, the final meeting was most likely very similar.

    Griffin's soft. Just accept it. Don't forget to mention that that stat line came against perhaps the worst secondary ever known to man.

    Or so I have read.

    And coached by a guy who was possibly the worst I've ever seen at matching schemes to the talent he had to work with.

    Why would AA be bitter? He has scoreboard over Baylor and he played against them with a nasty shoulder injury in 2008. Of course his statline wasn't going to look all that great!

    I wanna say Lindy's utilizes local writes to do a write up about each team. As to how they decide ranking the conference, im not sure.
