This is a game which in recent years has been picked up by Mediacom Connections Channel 22. I look for the same this year. All that being said; I will be there in person. Can't wait! Go Cyclones!!!

Its been allowed in the past on Thrs nights when the major networks involved in the Big 12 contracts have not been airing games. Since its on a Sat night this year, there is no way the Big 12 will allow this game to be on TV, taking viewers away from their televised games. Re: UNI game time/TV
Just because every game is going to be on doesn't mean a network has just jumped at the chance to televise that one.

Actually, I believe that has changed already.

Re: UNI game time/TV
I was under the impression that "every game on TV' didn't start until 2012 as well.
Even if the change has occurred, it will probably be a last minute pick up.
The following games are scheduled for that same day, and not on a network yet:
Texas State at Texas Tech TBA
Northern Iowa at Iowa State TBA
McNeese State at Kansas TBA
Eastern Kentucky at Kansas State TBA
Rice at Texas TBA
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection. -

The only change for 2011 is that Fox will use FX for some of their allotted windows instead of just FSN. There is already a Big 12 broadcast in the same window as ISU/UNI, so don't expect that game to be on. Last year it was on because FSN didn't select any 6 p.m. games, so they released all of them to the schools for local/web production.

Re: UNI game time/TV
Im not sure 'every game on tv' applied to nonconference games. Taking away NU\CU opened up slots for other teams (we had often had 5 b12 games a week covered during conference season, leaving one out), but in the early weeks when there are 10 different big 12-involved games instead of just 5, there likely arent going to be enough spots for all big 12 teams to be getting national or even wide-regional coverage, especially when playing against I-AA opponents like UNI, and especially for a school like ours that doesnt draw a large audience to begin with.

Plus, being on Mediacomm barely counts as television coverage.

To compare, there are 66 games in 2011 that would fall under the Big 12's rights.

Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
