Before it was going up I jokingly told a friend we were putting the video board on a swivel so it could be turned around to turn the lots into a drive-in theater. She thought I was serious.
Both of those=great ideas. You could auction off time to play on the big boards for some sort of charity maybe, and the movie nights would be a great way for the university to say "see...we have alcohol free activities as well!" to placate the MADDs of the world.
Also, I would love to see away games broadcast on the big screen and letting people watch from the field. I remember my sophomore year, 2002, I was a Destination Iowa State leader and took my group to Hilton to watch the so close it hurt Florida State game. It was actually a really great time and that was the game that got me interested in Cyclone football.
Movies would be a great idea just like the old drive ins. This could be called the Walk On movie theater or Friday night lights etc. It would get more people in the stadium and at a younger age. Get'er done JP Let me know if you need any more ideas
