Super glad to see this kid atop the depth chart as that says a lot about him as a newcomer. Ever since the first cyclones.com video came out displaying his speed and quickness, I've seen in him something we've been missing the last couple years. Now, regardless of how Steele Jantz pans out, for good or for bad, I highly doubt we'll regret that offer, as Horne might turn out to be the gem of the package deal. Only time will tell. My hope is that they both become superstars.
The way he plays reminds me a of a faster Jack Whitver... Just gets open somehow...
I think it's safe to say the posters that doubted him when he first came, ate some crow.
It's completely possible that he ends up doing more for ISU than Jantz.
My money's still on Jantz to start, but nothing would shock me (except Richardson starting).
Kind of scary that a guy we picked up late as kind of an after-thought has made it into the starting lineup of our receiving corps. Where would we be without him right now?!?Quote:

The guy was always impressive in his reel footage. Somneone might want to repost it.
He sure knows how to grab the deep ball. He can be a weapon. He almost looks like a smaller version of that fellow that the Huskers had the last few years. He can goi and get it if you out it out there long enough. He has potential to have a big year.
