He was a decent-to-good (serviceable) player in college. NFL is a long shot for him.

He had better measurables than Tyler Sash, according to NFL scouts. I don't think it's out of the question that he could make an NFL camp somewhere.

I think he actually ended up with the other "pro" league. Believe he got drafted by Omaha.

Yeah, he did surprisingly well at ISU's Pro Day. I don't think that he has a shot at making a team, but it wouldn't have surprised me if he got a tryout somewhere. He'd make a nice Special Teams player.

Ask Aaron Agnew or Ross Marsden or Shawn Taggart where their "measurables" got them. It's no different in bball or football. Having a good broad jump or good vertical or anything else gets you nowhere if you cannot perform.

    Re: Mike O'Connell...

Michael always looked like he played hard here so I don't see a big reason to laugh at his future or compare him to other people. A simple no, or something along those lines can work too.

The Nighthawks may not be playing this year as the five team league is on tenuous ground.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

A National Championship with Memphis. I think any of us would be happy with that.

Shawn got a free education and a degree, that's the most important thing. Whether or not most ISU fans like him he went thru some adversity here and tore an ACL at Memphis and still chased his dream. Declaring for the draft wasn't the wisest thing to do for him but he probably got as far in collegiate basketball as possible.
