I'm hearing rumblings about a new verbal this morning. Anyone know who it could be. AA use your connections and help us out please?

Like its been said many times before its still early in the recruiting process. I would love to take another kid from Florida if Watson is the man. I'm sure the Burnhams would be on him and they dont miss quite too often. CB is a position of need too.

I'd imagine this won't be the only CB we go after/get. I see us taking 3-4 CB's this draft class and that does not include safeties which is a need in and of itself.

Considering their history of recruiting inpropriety and paying players (when Tressel was there) it is somewhat impressive.

If this is true it is a relatively unknown guy as far as the national scene goes... I do find that he must have appeared in at least one camp and recorded a 40-yard time of 4.59 seconds and featured a vertical of 28.5 inches...

Will be interesting to hear more about him if he is indeed the new verbal...

The guy is a 3 star recruit. There's a pretty good chance that he will get more offers in the near future so I am not hung up on that.

Unfotrunately, at 5'11 he is too tall to play corner for us. We like them in the 5'7 range exclusively.

He has some long arms. Looks like he could add some good weight, might be a safety.

Are you referring to the user rating right below the rivals 3 star rating?

That's a rating by users who are probably fans of the players high school or very close to the player. They are probably a little biased and rate them higher than Rivals would.
