End of the 3rd Quarter Music

The entrance song thread brought this thread idea up. I know that there are some here on CF that think the song played at the end of the 3rd quarter has to go. What song would you want played there. I have two choices one being Thunderstruck but the entrance song thread makes me agree that TS should be entrance song. My end of 3rd quarter song would be Sandstorm. Think about it not only does hearing that song jack most of us up, hearing it will make us think of basketball season and jack up the crowd more. Plus the "dance" the students do to song is cool and to see the student sections at FB do this would be awesome at the student section for FB is bigger than basketball.

Pretty sure the older people with $$$ will disagree. That's why it's still there.

Would it be cooler than the students during sweet Caroline? I don't think you can so easily say you speak for everyone that it needs to go. I think they did it well last year playing it when we are ahead and not when we are behind.

Sweet Caroline is LOVED by the students and myself included. If you have ever sat in the student section while its played, it would change your mind immediately.

We need to have the band do sandstorm permanently though. That was so cool at basketball games.

Thunderstuck as entrance song.
Sweet Caroline as 3rd quarter song.

Especially if you're standing next to hot drunk chicks in the student section during the "touching me, touching you" part.

Sweet Caroline is terrible for football, plus we copied the idea off of the Red Sox.

Agree. If I had the money to change it I would. SC doesn't pump people up it puts people to sleep. Years ago at ISU that would have made sense but this is a new era at ISU, and we need the Jack to be going crazy.

Yeah lets get rid of the one thing that more then 3/4 of the crowd gets into. While we are at it, lets please get rid of Cyclone-Power and the What Ya Gonna do ISU thing.

I'm happy some of you people don't get the chance to run the sound system and music choices.
