Much Respect to C&C FB Camp
To Leonard Johnson, and his mom Schenique Harris, Jeremiah George and Jarvis West: Much respect. Giving hope and inspiration means a lot. Always. Great, great idea.
Thanks to Bobby La Gesse and the Ames Tribune for passing it on as well.

Re: Much Respect to C&C FB Camp
Wow. Much, much respect for LJ, Jeremiah, and Jarvis (along with LJ's mom, and anyone else who helped organize the event). We've got some high quality young men in the program.
Proud to have them as Cyclones.

Re: Much Respect to C&C FB Camp
You're right: Respect also to anyone else who helped organize the event or helped out like the other H.S. players that are mentioned in the article.

Re: Much Respect to C&C FB Camp
Sometimes you hear about other teams having guys take on community service projects, but somehow I never hear about Cyclones doing so. Not that the reason should be that we need to keep up with the Joneses... it's just good to see that we've got guys thinking about more than football.

Re: Much Respect to C&C FB Camp
It's always nice to see young people give back to their community. I have a lot of respect for all involved. Thanks for bringing the article to our attention, ShopTalk. Thanks, too, to Bobby La Gesse for writing it.

Down the road East, it's a normal part of their sentencing requirements.
