Don't know for sure. Only thing I know is that Coach Rhoads said the defense was down a few guys today due to minor stuff like ankles and hamstrings. I assume that Jake was one of those guys, if that is the case. Nothing serious as far as I know and I'm sure I would have heard something if that was the case.

To add to that, I assume that the staff is being pretty cautious with Jake coming off of his arm injury. I wouldn't worry about this.

We all know come Sept 3rd Knott will be ready to go. Might as well be cautious with him. It helps give the younger guys get some more reps and experience which in the long run could be helpful with the lack of depth there.
