JC QBs & Trans at ISU

Alex Espinoza? David Archer and Seneca Wallace did very well for ISU, remember any others? Can current JC make a difference

Was there an ounce of proper grammar in that post? Haha, I'm just kidding. I do think you're bringing up a good point: where is the quarterback development? Meyer and Arnaud were all right, and Sage was pretty solid back in the day, but none put up numbers that made you really sit up and take notice. The guys you mentioned, on the other hand, did. Good topic.

Walter Grant in 1978 was decent.

Brett Sadek was a transfer from Minnesota in 87.
Brett Oberg was very good IMO in 88-89

Alex Espinoza brings back some memories. I don't know how many times I heard Pete Taylor say "Espinoza back to pass, he's in trouble" but it seemed to be practically every pass play.
They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.

Are we remembering every JUCO that came to ISU or only ones that did good. Terrance Highsmith comes to mind, fell in love with his athletic ability, was disappointed by his QB ability.

Forgot about him. He was a decent receiver.

How about this one, Derek Walker. He turned into a decent linebacker.

Bret Oberg was a JC, no? How about Dean Carlson?

ISU has had more success with JC QBs than not.

Since when did a little Heroin make you a bad person? I mean as long as your not sharing needles, that's just wrong.
