The last few years we have just thrown out a few of the same guys over and over.. hoping to do better. If Daniels, Bundrage, West, and Horne can come in and start making plays.... that has to make you excited.
We knew we needed some new talent at WR.. and it looks like we might have it! Its been a long wait!

Re: Brundrage, Daniels, Brackens to play
Is it a given that Jevohn Miller will play or will he possibly redshirt?

Re: Brundrage, Daniels, Brackens to play
Love to see some guys coming in at WR making an impact, we haven't had a playmaker at that spot for a few years. The coaching staff obviously sees that these kids can have an impact. IMO the WR spot was the easiest place for a new guy to make some noise, lets hope these 2 make a difference. I'm also excited to see what Brackins can do, next year the DB's are a huge question mark, it'll be nice for him to get some experience.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -

like to see the young guys looking to get some playing time. It will be huge for the future.
I WAS THERE!!!!!! -

Rhoads wouldn't view him the same way as other freshman since he was there in the spring. Even if he's stuck behind Knott and Klein a couple of years, it will be nice to have a bruiser on special teams.

Re: Brundrage, Daniels, Brackens to play
This is good news for the WR group. Nice to finally have a batch of new talent ushered into the mix even if they are young.
Hopefully that's about the end of the freshman playing from this calss. CPR has done a great job saving those red-shirts and building up the foundation.
I am disappointed Lampkin was not mentioned though. Seeing him on the news in Omaha a lot got me stoked to see what he could do.

We are short in the LB department and he will inherit the playing time. We do not want to wear Knott out before the Big 12 season starts.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Brundrage, Daniels, Brackens to play
My guess is that Daniels is a load and we need one. Our receivers in the past have not always been physical except for Colin or Marquis.

Re: Brundrage, Daniels, Brackens to play
I really hope we actually need these guys to play and they aren't just in there for a few plays each game. I would much rather have them play much of the game as 5th year seniors.
How many true freshman have we had play in recent years?

Re: Brundrage, Daniels, Brackens to play
My hope for Daniels is that he can be Marquis Hamilton. IMO, Marquis was a pretty underrated guy. He wasn't flashy but man if he had to fight for the ball, he won. If Daniels could be that, Bundrage could be Sumrall but a little better and the itty bitty guys could be playmakers, we will be dangerous in 2-3 year. Like really dangerous. I fully believe that our young guys at skill positions including QB have never approached the level we are going to get to. That's not even counting Quan West.

Not saying Hamilton was bad, b/c he wasn't. But Daniels appears bigger and faster.
