UNI team speed

So I see CPR was mentioning how fast UNI's team speed is, and how they are a faster team than ISU.

I can't say I really know what our team speed is like, but I would guess it's been improving. Was anyone else surprised to hear this?

Tech and Texas had More speed last year too, we know how those games turned out

When Rhoads talks about team speed, is he talking about individual player speed (40 yd dash time), or is he talking about the tempo of the offense? Because I could see UNI having a faster based offense, but can't imagine their players are faster than ISU's players.

Coach talk. He isn't just going to come out and say we are going to kick the living crap out of UNI(I wish he would).

I have a hard time imagining that we have less team speed than UNI. I think this is one of those things a coach says so that his team doesn't take week 1 lightly.

In a nutshell, UNI is undersized, but fast. I like the match-up when we're on offense, but I worry a bit when we're on defense. Our challenge will be to contain the speed of their running back and receivers.

As always, a big key will be whether our defense can pressure their QB and control the line of scrimmage.
