    I think this is right about what we had in 2007, and in 2007 we had the double whammy of a new "big splash" head coach and a requirement that you buy season tickets to go to the Iowa game.

    We have neither of those this year, and the economy is in worse shape.

    Maybe we are getting a bump from the several thousand season ticket requests that Iowa had to turn down due to their extreme demand.

    Coach Rhoads has instilled the sense that at least one really good thing that you weren't expecting will happen every season. You will be ****** if miss it. That is a powerful motivator and this is the proof.
