Very optimistic. I don't think there is any way we will beat Missouri and KSU in the same year. Especially on the road.

"These ain't your father's Cyclones." Under CPR's direction, and the strength of the D, I expect to be-in and win any game we take the field. There is a new way of thinking in Ames as of late and this team and its coaching staff have made believers out of everybody for all I'm concerned.

Just out of curiosity, what has you high on KSU this year? The got some decent juco transfers from what I hear, but they lost some key players, including Daniel Thomas, who was a majority of their offense.
I am not high on them, I just realize that we have not had luck beating either team lately. Why is everyone forgeting this?

I'm not forgetting, but I don't think KSU is a team that is heads and tails better than us. The last two years at aarowhead have come down to the fourth quarter. Last year it came down to a blown offensive pass interference call. A few plays later Thomas was in the endzone, but it was definitely a blown call that got them there. The year before was the blocked kick. This is a KSU team that has snuck by us...not a team that has dominated us. Are you forgetting this?
I'm not questioning you on Missouri. That would be a heck of an upset this year, but one that I think most people would say is possible because of what we have done the last couple of years on the road against some good teams.
The only change I would make in these predicitons would be that we lose to Missouri but beat Texas. Two in a row over Texas, it's a definite possibility! ...and we could all watch the highlights on the Longhorn Network!
The year before was the blocked kick that should have drawn a flag.

I can't remember who Brodrick pushes in the back, but you can see our d-back get pushed and fall forward to the ground.
