Iowa should be 28 pt favorites over us next week IMO
If we get the same O-line play next week, Jantz won't make it through the 1st quarter.
And if we can't run whatsoever on UNI, what are we going to do against Iowa?
Tom Herman should be handing in his resignation right now. Nice high powered "jet" offense buddy. My word. Our "jet" offense only meant that our 3 and outs were even quicker and our defense had to go back out again. That's it.

Not really Iowa just beat a team 34-7 that UNI would beat by 50.

You guys are looking at the negatives...but how about a positive? Iowa does terrible defending a scrambling, white QB. I couldn't watch tonight's game, but from what I gather, Jantz makes things happen with his feet as well as his arm, correct?

Line will be 17.5.

Overreact much? Don't you guys remember how Iowa had a similar situation against UNI a couple years back? How'd their season end up that year.
we had a QB starting his first D1 game, both O & D lines decimated by injury & suspension & we still found a way to win.
It was a really ugly performance & I agree that we should be big underdogs next week, but lets wait a few more games before we decide to throw in the towel on the season.

I thought Barney ball was predictable but Herman takes it to a whole new level. The offense is a complete joke

Who is the more over hyped bust, D. Reynolds or T Herman?

lets wait a few more games before we decide to throw in the towel on the season. Clonedude seems to always panic. Earlier, without even knowing why anyone was suspended, he was calling for players to be kicked off the team. Actually, I think he was wanting them kicked off the team for missing class.
ISU should have at least been up by two touchdowns at half. The o line was missing it's best players and it was many players, including the starting QB's first game. Injuries, turnovers, and dumb penalties kept UNI in it, and even gave them a chance to win the game. I think the season will be much like I thought it would. 4-8 or 5-7. Virginia Tech lost it's first two games last season, including one to FCS James Madison. They went on to a BCS bowl game. It isn't time to panic.

He made things happen when it counted, but other times he looked pretty god-awful. Better than the other way around I guess.
I really want to see a replay of his scramble and throw for a touchdown on 4th and long towards the end of the game. That was outstanding.

Why doesn't Reynolds have his name on the back of his jersey? Just curious.

We got them right where we want them.
Looks like we are Orange Bowl bound.

The line will probably be big, as ESPN is once again predicting Iowa to be an outside B1G title contender. That being said, their performance today doesn't exactly have me convinced yet.
