Opening Montage.

I know this is a bit cliche as every other thread on CF right now is talking about tonight's game but I want to see what you fanatics opinion is on the opening.

I personally loved the whole automated voice saying there is heavy cloud cover and very high winds ect. with the very loud sirens blaring.... It got everybody pumped and it is VERY cool..

not to be one of those people that will always find something to ***** about though. But I did think that the whole tunnel walk/ smoke on the water entrance did take a little longer than it should take.

But dont rip on me, I still love the entrance, it was sweet.

I thought it was pretty darn sweet too. And I agree w/ smoke on the water. To me it's just a bit too cliche of an entrance song.

Smoke on the water has got to go...just a really horrible song for an entrance. It doesn't go anywhere...no build, no climax. Some many other songs out there that would get the place rocking. Like the storm warning deal just need a different song.

ohhh boy, well the big guy is going to have to realize, they need to start the music a little later. I dont mind it, actually like it. But they need to make it a little quicker. Its not nebby's tunnel walk.

That intro was awesome and smoke on the water really took a lot of wind out of its sails. That is true whether or not the 'head honcho' happens to like smoke on the water. The head honcho also wants the crowd engaged, which SotW most certainly doesnt do.

Actually, from watching the video SOTW worked great. It kept the fans going but at a level that allowed for the eruption once they broke through the tunnel.

Once the fans get used to it and the whole stadium sustains the clapping through the song, it will be even better.

I loved it. The storm warning may have been cheesy but oh well, the video and everything was awesome.

I don't think the storm warning will have the same effect on a bright and sunny day, but I loved the split moment, "Wait? There's a bad storm coming?" moments that so many people had before realizing it was a pump-up thing.

You'd be surprised how deep fans can dig for an eruption. Enter Sandman works great for Iowa. Back in Black gets the place rocking (and it scales back a bit as it plays for a minute or two), then Enter Sandman gets people excited again (again, scaling back briefly as the song goes on), and then as it builds to the climax when the Swarm rushes out, the place just goes nuts.

Wow, I think I need to find another way to word all this. It just sounds really dirty haha. But it's 3 am and I'm too lazy to fix it right now.
