I noticed he was in full pads and uniform. So I take it he didn't redshirt? If not, I was kinda hoping he would see the field for a play or 2, especially after Maggit went down. I hope he heals up alright, looked bad.

That is really saying a lot for a kid who hasnt been playing his entire life. I really have high hopes for the kid, but I would never suggest he is going to be the best we have ever had. That is crazy to say about a kid just coming in and we have not seen.

Maybe you have not followed ISU football very long. We have had some very good DEs. He may be very good and I hope he is - but too early to put that lable on him.
