No. We set the record when our seating capacity was greater than it is now.
It could be top 5, but not the record.
Erik is right.
It'll be impossible, given the hillsides are sold out, new stadium configurations, and there are only a few single tickets left. It will, at max, exceed the UNI attendance by a couple hundred.
what was the stadium configuration in 2007 that allowed so many more tickets?
If it ends up over 55,000 like JP says, then it will be top 4 of all time. I really doubt we'll get over the record, but it could end up at #2. I can't remember what the current #2 and #3 are though.
We'll at least have 2 of our top 5 most attended games this season, and the Texas game should be another huge crowd. Pretty impressive considering that capacity is actually down from a few years ago.
I think he is talking about setting the record for the Iowa series.
Can't you add some seats to the top of that new scoreboard of yours?
If Texas is undefeated and we are 2-1, at worst, expect another top 10 crowd. If the weather is nice, it has massive potential.
