    Quad City Game Watch?

So my brother and sister in law are having a baby and she scheduled the shower this weekend.

I'm going to be closer to Ames (from Michigan) than I would have been, but I'm not sure where the best ISU friendly place is in the QC anymore.

Anyone have any suggestions where I can watch the game in the Quad Cities with fellow Cyclones? The fewer Hawkeyes the better.

I am a soloist for a 9-11 national remembrance that a group in Albuquerque is a participant. We rehearse for 4 hours Saturday at noon.

    Thanks a lot bin ladin.

That sucks, but at least you are in Alburqueque. That way you can DVR the game and not know the result and watch like it is brand new without a bunch of people telling you the result. I had to work for an ISU Iowa game and taped (yeah that long ago) it, but all it took was stopping by the gas station on the way home to have the result of the game spoiled for me.

Beach House will probably be your best bet to watch the game with other Cyclones. Every other bar in the QC will likely be 99.9% Hawk fans.

And I don't know about you, but I think I'd rather be kicked in the groin with steel toed boots for 3 hours than watch a game with fair weather hawk fans.

Fennellys Circle Tap in Dport on Locust St. might be pretty safe place to watch. Plus they used to have killer ribs.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not dude?

All set for the Beach House in Bettendorf. Its a brand new place so they just got it finished up today. Should be interesting being this new but at least we can out-number the Hawk fans there hopefully. If you missed the RSVP, no problem, just come on up. Its nothing too formal.

Still do and that is where we watched the bowl game last year.
