Sounds like a pretty strong rumor that he collapsed, but conflicting reports on if he is in the hospital or worse.
Never like to hear this stuff about anybody.

Wow, if true, all my best to Greenwood and his family.

The following is a fake Des Moines register twitter, do not take this for truth:
@DesMoines_Reg
Duh Moines_Register
Breaking News: Reggie Pickles reports that Brett Greenwood, former Iowa football player, has passed away. Source; @Dan_Welter
Who the hell thinks this is funny? BG is in intensive care with his life on the line and some idiot thinks its funny to put up **** like this.
“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -
Re: IF rumors are true bad news from Iowa football
Some people on twitter are now saying he passed away, sad if true...

Re: IF rumors are true bad news from Iowa football
Brett seems like a GREAT young man and is a role model for kids all over Iowa. His dad, Dave, was a tremendous Cyclone under Earle Bruce in the 1970's. Sending prayers

Re: IF rumors are true bad news from Iowa football
Why make the title sound like Iowa is in trouble with something? Maybe I'm the only on who thought this, but I thought it was odd.
Thoughts and prayers to him and his family. Seemed like a good guy and was a great player. Hate to see that happen.

Re: IF rumors are true bad news from Iowa football
I pray he comes through. It breaks my heart to hear people going through stuff likes this and possibly losing their life at such a young age.
