NU has to feel a bit better about the game with Iowa. Get V a little rattled and he becomes a little frantic and his throws aren't too sharp. Granted he just played one of his first big games and will improve but NU's defense is, if not, the best in the country.

His first start was a game at Ohio State... I don't know how much larger a game can get. Granted, it was his first start in a RIVALRY game, and as the defacto starter for the season, but it's not like he hasn't had previous experience.

Vandenberg did seem off on a lot of his passes today... he's been a decent QB for Iowa in the past, I'm sure it was just nerves for him today.
