Time for me to man up and eat some crow
Since the UNI game, I've probably been one of the most pessimistic posters on here. In fact, I predicted a 45-10 Iowa victory.
I just wanted to be sure to come on here and man up and admit I was wrong. We looked horrible last week, but Jantz found a way to lead us to victory. I really believed we'd get whooped this week, but I was dead wrong. Especially after we turned it over on that first drive into the redzone.
Steele Jantz is the real deal. But other guys played their hearts out too. It was a team effort.
In fact, this game wasn't as close as it seemed. ISU should have won this game by at least 13 points in regulation IMO. Iowa was lucky to get this to OT IMO. Two missed FG's and our 3 turnovers compared to their one. We had them beat pretty good in regulation, but the scoreboard showed otherwise.
Iowa fans are complaining that Coker's fumble was what cost them the game. Seriously? C'mon guys... you got whooped... plain and simple. We had 3 stupid turnovers to your one. Yet, we still won the game.

A clonedude post that doesn't include the work embarrassment. Huh.
Well anyway welcome back to reality.

Any team that bounced a field goal in has no room to complain about anything. -

BTW, I said a week ago that we'd be "smoked". I was wrong and it bothers me not a bit.

I was one of them, I thought the Cyclones would lose today but am happy to be proven wrong. Just got around to watching the game on dvr and the offense was just so much better than last week. Jantz was poised and the O-line made significant strides.
