    Unsung heroes on defense

They won't be mentioned on Sportscenter but I thought Jacques Washington and C.J. Morgan played one hell of a game for us on defense. It seems like whenever C.J. was in you heard his name called for making a play.

The entire defense does need a lot of recognition for the 3rd overtime, holding Iowa to the field goal allowing the offense to go for the win, instead of forcing them to play for a 4th overtime.

I think Matt Tau'fo'ou was arguably our best player on defense. He ran downhill and made some nice tackles.

Yeah, lots of praise to go around. I'll single out LJ, because of his great hit that caused the fumble, and also the fact that you hardly ever hear about him, since they just don't throw his way very often.
