Prediction: ISU@UConn
I think the road challenge is big for Jantz in the first half then we play our game. ISU 27-17

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
Hard to tell how this game might go, we only have six days off and I'm sure the Iowa game was pretty physically and emotionally draining for our players, plus we have to travel all the way to UCONN.

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
Im not one to post predictions, I did think we would be 2-0 going into uconn and we will lose. sorry fellas.

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
UConn is competitive with Vandy right now so I think this game will also be close. I am hoping for 31-24 ISU. I am a lot more comfortable with our defense now not to give up 50.

I'll wait for today's game to settle in for a couple before making a prediction.

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
When they travel, how soon do they get there? Do they get a day to unwind, or is usually day of?

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
Let's not play poorly like we have after big games: (Utah, Texas A&M, Colorado)
Let's be a "Peak and Plateau Program" baby.

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
I think we win late but we'll be sweating bullets the whole game.

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
Team likely will travel on Thursday. Definite trap game for the team, especially with the 6 days off vs. 7. May be a bit sluggish like the Army game in 2005, but hopefully this team and overcome and pull another one out. 35-17 Cyclones...

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
History would say we lose this game. But after seeing what this team is made of today I have to believe in them. Only 6 days to recover will be tough. I hope Kelechi's ankle didn't get any worse.

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
It'll be interesting to see how this squad reacts on its first road trip, should be a good atmosphere since its a Friday night game. I think if we run the ball like we did today, we win. Jantz came up big in the running game today but it was nice to see SJ and White be a factor. If they pitch in like that again UCONN will be in trouble.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -
Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
I thought starting the year, we had to have at least one, if not both, of these games to go bowling. Well, one is in the bank, pulling this one out going into a bye week would be huge.

Re: Prediction: ISU@UConn
I'm curious. I've believed that we'll be 3-0 heading into Texas, although the UNI game gave me some real doubts.
So far, we've beaten a cat (Panther), some sort of freakish bird thing (Hawkeye), so it's time to defeat a dog (Huskie).
I don't mind if we go ahead and beat a horse right after that.....
