Offensive scheme progress
As I watched Saturday's game, I noticed how much more effective this offensive philosophy looks (or can look) compared to the Iowa game in '09, and even compared to last season's game.
I'm sure it has a lot to do with the "fit" of players recruited specifically for this style, and the experience of players within the system. I also realize we could see a few games when it goes off the rails, depending on the opponent (quite likely both those Iowa teams had something to do with ISU's ineptitude)
If there's anything I remember about the '09 game, it was frequent delay of game or false-start penalties, either on first down or short-yardage situations. Now, it almost seems like ISU has an offensive identity.
I hope it continues to develop.

Re: Offensive scheme progress
The offense really looks like its getting in sync. As they build chemistry and confidence in one another they're only going to get better. Should be fun to watch.
