    I'm loving this kid so far and there's no way we beat Iowa without him yesterday, but let's not get carried away.

    We would have to overachieve as a team and he would have to perform consistently at the level he did against Iowa to be in this conversation. No kidding, he's probably have to perform like that and have us pull out a win against an A&M, Okie St. or OU to get that kind of attention.

    Let's put this in perspective...he had a good quarter against an FCS team and a great game against an Iowa team that will likely end up being 30-40th best in the country by the end of the year.

    Not taking anything away from him...just saying he has a lot to do to be considered among the elite.

    I hate when this happens,

    Its early in the season, We are extremely thin on experienced Olinemen, anything can happen in the next few weeks, Including Steele having a fallout on the road in UConn. I love Steele and I hope he can lead us to our best season in years, But lets take this thing ONE GAME AT A TIME.
