"Day after day, situation after situation you do things the right way. If you do things the right way, in life, you are going to be successful. I'm not just your football coach; I'm not just here to win games. I could not be prouder of who we are and who we are becoming, together. Road game on short rest. Potential for huge let down game after our rivalry game. And its sandwiches between two of our biggest games Iowa, and Texas.
I hope were ready, but this has TRAP written all over it.

Re: UConn -6.5 over ISU
Is Vandy good? UConn lost to them and failed to even score an offensive TD. Their QB doesn't seem very good according to stats. Or WRs. RB is pretty good. I will be pretty disappointed if we lose. 3-0 is there for the taking. Could be a trap though.

Re: UConn -6.5 over ISU
UConn is better than they have played. Their defense is VERY good, and if they can figure anything out on offense, we might be in trouble. I don't think they'll win the Big East again this year, but if we don't show up ready to play well, we could lose. MUST take them very seriously....
I'm actually happy a few things went wrong yesterday so that coaches have plenty to get after them about this week.

Re: UConn -6.5 over ISU
I think Vegas is banking on a classic "let down" game and/or Jantz ******** the bed in his first road game.
I'd take ISU to cover in this one.
UConn's offense is just awful, but their defense keeps them in pretty much every game they play.

UConn's offense is just awful, but their defense keeps them in pretty much every game they play. After watching the first two games I don't think Jantz is capable of ******* his pants but I'm really worried about the team being very flat for the first road game after an emotional, long game in a short week.

I hope were ready, but this has TRAP written all over it. This. Hopefully CPR's mantra about never falling in to the valley kicks in this year and the team can get it done. We don't want 2002 again.

I hope were ready, but this has TRAP written all over it. There is a bye week after the UCONN game, CPR can go emotionally all in on Friday night and not worry about it. I'd bet a lot ISU wins outright, by double digits.

Re: UConn -6.5 over ISU
I'll put a bunch in again on UConn when we get a CyBookie. My little simulation has a larger line favoring UConn in this game than it did Iowa. Their offense is statistically the weakest of our three non-confs, but their defense is by far the strongest. I wouldn't be surprised to see a loss... but I've said this a LOT during the Rhoads era, and each and every time I've been (gratefully!) proven wrong. Go Clones!

I lost 30 million credits betting on iowa, figuring if we won i wouldnt care too much about losing those credits, and if we lost i'd at least get some credits probably.
Though I wouldnt be opposed to a credit stimulus again, just so i can lose some more credits betting against us.

I agree. If ISU gets caught looking ahead to a game 2 weeks ahead, then they shouldn't be playing college football.
