ISU wearing all white unis Friday

Would be pretty neat if it was white with the kind of shadow white you see in the Texas/Duke/ UNC basketball unis. Dont incorporate a picture of course like the basketball unis, but make it almost a 2 tone white..

PS Knowing how popular uni threads are on CF. I think this thread is going to blow up tomorrow when more people see it.

I can't believe I took the time to peruse three pages about f-in uniforms but I guess a Monday holiday in Korea will do that....me thinks it's high time for a few people to go out to a bar, talk to a chick & fornicate w/said chick.

Technically, no. Footnotes are used to cite references to your sources, whether published or unpublished, original or secondary, whatever they are. Explaining your text is your footnotes is considered extremely bad form. That's what the body of your text is for.

The general rule as I'm taught: If you can't find a way to include it in your text, it probably shouldn't be included.

I would love adding the white pants as an option... Especially if it means we could see the white pants/Gold jersey combo for a night home game... maybe even with a gold helmet...

AGREED. Or even the white helmet would look sweet too.... I really like the idea of gold jersey/white pants

Why is it too bad? It's not like this all-white set is replacing our current road set - it's in addition to it.

I honestly don't get this opinion that ISU is only allowed to have one home uniform set and one road uniform set. Even pro teams generally don't do that anymore. If anything has been proven over the last 5 years, it is impossible to make all the fans happy all the time, so ISU might as well do what makes the recruits happy - and if that means gold jerseys and/or white pants that a vocal minority hate, so be it.

I actually am hoping for a white helmet - I could use yet another mini ISU helmet at my work desk. As if it wasn't already apparent that I'm the biggest ISU fan working at the Detroit Arsenal...
