This. If he can take care of the fumbles, he our best back by a good amount in my opinion. Makes it look easy. On the first play of the Iowa game he made that spin move and gained 7 yards when our other backs wouldn't have gotten 2.
Did Hollis play? I know he switched numbers (I believe to # 9).
Or can he still redshirt?
It was cool seeing Hollis, SJ and JW all meet in the endzone after JW scored the winning TD. A true stable of running backs that want to see each other do well...
Duck redshirted last year and I think you are right that he is #9 now.
Woody will get his touches eventually and he will be more effective than he was against UNI. The OL wasn't the same in tha that game.
We haven't seen much of the pistol yet because we haven't gone up against a D that is specifically susceptable to it, like Texas was last year.
UCONNs strength on DL appears to be in the middle as well so we will probably continue to see a steady stream of SJ and JW.
By the way, I think James White's nickname should be Buzz, just so we can have Buzz and Woody in the same backfield. You can thank my 4 and 2 year olds for that one!
