Key for us is to continue to be quick with our tempo on offense and not allow them to sub dlineman in the game. That makes their defensive line gassed like they were for Iowa and allows us to just manhandle them up front boy id like to see it again, coaches can't allow the let down game.

Re: UConn Breakdown
I think you can take Their Offense stats with a grain of salt. Look at us vs UNI. Sometimes it takes a game or two to figure yourself out.

. . . That's the stats for the 1 of their 3 QB's that has the most passing yards. A better stat (not that I'm going to look it up) for comparison is to combine the 3 QB's for a combined QB position stat and compare that to Steele.

23-50 for 332yards, 1 TD, 4 Ints, 6 sacks

Re: UConn Breakdown
Their D line might be better than Iowa's, but I don't see their O line being better. Iowa seems to reload every year on their lines too, and I thought our guys on both sides did pretty well against them. If we can hang onto the rock, I think it'll be a win.

They have 4 senior experienced defensive linemen and good linebackers and a pretty decent secondary.
we beat a good team on saturday, i really feel that way. I would give Iowa's defense a B+
I guess i shouldn't make any assumptions about UConn's defense, but i don't think they will be as good as Iowa's. And they don't have norm parker, who is a heck of a coach.

Re: UConn Breakdown
People are forgetting that our Offense had KO in for about 2 series or so against UNI. And Hicks and Darks didn't even play. Big blocks made by Darks against Iowa.
Rump barely played against UNI as well on defense. We moved Patrick Neal to DT for the UNI game.

Re: UConn Breakdown
UConn fans are really panicked about their QB situation, as well as their WRs. I was just on their message board (which sucked).

Not forgetting, but as the season wears on -- and it may be sooner rather than later -- there will be injuries and possibly injuries to multiple key players. Teams have to play through that. You don't get a pass because your BMOC can't suit up.
