More James White! More James White!

I am totally sold on this cat. Love the way he runs -- remind anybody of JJ Moses maybe a little?

I am sold on that T formation we were running on Saturday. I think it opens up the lanes for all of our backs. I personally think the balance we have right now is perfect between the backs.

Love James White. Think he runs nothing like JJ Moses. Also think that if you give White more carries than that means you take less from Shontrelle Johnson which I don't like. Shontrelle is a stud. I never worried about losing Arob b/c I felt Shontrelle was more talented and he is. Quicker and harder to tackle

This is questionable, I love Shontrelle and all but A-Rob was a special back. He carried the bulk of runs for 3 years with some suspect O-Lines. Those are big shoes to fill.

Running White more could help keep Shontrelle fresh and explosive. Could be even better for us.

I like him too. He doesn't remind me of JJ Moses at all though. He's kind of a speed back with some power. Not as shifty as SJ, good at breaking tackles though with a nice burst.

This. Although ShJ and Jdub are awesome, Arob would have loved to play for us this year. That said, we do have a nicely well rounded rushing attack.

Also, I really like our options at WR and slot when we spread out in a 4 receiver set.

ARob was a nice back. Special? I'm not sure I'd say special. I loved him at ISU and am glad he's a Clone

I just think Shontrelle is more talented.

Nice to see James' hard work finally paying off this year! After a really good spring game 2 years ago we didn't hear much about him last season. Some on here were even saying that they thought he might transfer. Glad he didn't!

Hopefully Shontrelle can get in the end zone on Friday. Dude was slashing all over the place against Iowa and got to the corner fairly routinely. I would love to see him bust another long one like he had against Tech last year, or break someone's ankles like he did against KU. Hopefully he can put a clamp on the fumbles, too.

We need more White and less Woody. Woody is a one trick pony, save him for short yardage stuff.

What I love about James White is that he runs LOW. He puts his shoulder down and busts ahead, that is what we have been missing. Also love the T formation, or Diamond...whatever they call it.
    Boom.....transfer the karma

Woody hasn't even been good this year in the short yardage stuff from what I have seen. I would rather see White back there on a 3rd and 1 than Woody

Re: More James White! More James White!

Arob started for 3 years and was a solid back for us. Was well rounded and. Got a lot of carries in what was basically a one back system. That helped him get some good career statistics. Not as talented as Shontrelle though. Shontrelle is a special playmaker.
