Based on current performance during the 60 minutes - we go 0-5 in those games. Not one single team on that list will allow us to get away with 3 turnovers and a bunch of penalties.

Correct those things before next weekend and we've got a good chance against most of those opponents.

I'm also extremely encouraged that we are at our best in the 4th quarter. Just need to be much better in the first 3.

Chances to win any of those games should be around 40%. That said, 40% of 5 is 2 so maybe we can be 5-3 after that stretch. I'd be thrilled!

I think Texas is a lot better than everyone thinks now that they are starting GG. Honestly if we come out of that stretch 4-4 I would be happy. Then we could beat Kansas and K-State for 6 wins.

Yeah...unfortunately I think our best chances in the stretch are Mizzou & Tech and those are road games.

Gotta play the game though. Will see what happens. We could win them all or lose them all.

YES I AGREE 100% on the penalties and turn overs. There is no way we win any of the 5 games if we keep making the same mistakes every damn quarter.

I felt a lot better about the Texas game before they whooped up on UCLA in the Rose Bowl last Saturday. Here's too hoping UCLA is just that bad...

We've yet to come away with a convincing victory and we've played 1 FCS school and 2 unranked FBS teams.

UCLA is REALLY bad. They were tied in the 4th quarter the week before against a team that Stanford had just beaten the week before 56-3. Now I know Stanford is good but that is still terrible

Texas did look a lot better, but UCLA is not that great. They're 1-2 with a loss at Houston and a 10-point win over 0-3 San Jose State at home.

I'm expecting a close, competitive game in Ames on October 1.

As am I, I just would've liked to see McCoy struggle a little more against UCLA, even if they are putrid. Hopefully we will just have to shatter what little confidence he built in that game right out of the gate. At least we are due for a game with a positive turnover ratio.
