All American Conference (Ulitimate Reallignment Proposal)

So here it is the best Conference proposal I've seen so far. It is like having a couple bowls every year, the greatest conference B-Ball tournament, and a bunch of kick-*** places to go to see some sports. It isn't financially viable, would still be pretty good in Football and Basketball so it could be an AQ conference, but best of all, it is my idea. I have Trademarks pending so don't go stealing it Dan Beebe.

Yup that makes 18, 9 in each division. Each division gets two holiday destinations (hd), one party destination (pd), and everyone would play their division opponents once and their Rival game (UH/UNLV, BYU/BSU, AFA/CSU, KSU/KU, BU/TCU, MU/TU, ISU/NIU, USF/UCF). The Conference would be headquartered in Kansas City, preferably in one of their casinos or river boats. The Conference would have the option of playing Championship games in Arrowhead, Superdome, Hawaii, Bucaneer Stadium, Bengals Stadium, or Mile High Stadium (rotation sounds good to me), but the ideal situation would be for an annual new mega-state-of-art-casino-stadium in Vegas.

Here is the catch. The Basketball tournament would be in the Superdome EVERY YEAR and MUST take place during Mardi Gras. I'm thinking with this conference reallignment crap, we shouldn't hit them with tradition or big markets, but we sure as hell can be the funnest conference in the nation.

The other key to the conference success is to open stadium betting. To better connect the conference to Las Vegas and take advantage of the sports betting trends, on site casinos would be built in/on/near the stadiums. This would insure full houses on game days, but you might have to fight your grandma for a seat in the slot machine section. Games would also be broadcast nationwide to every casino as Harrah's, MGM, Bellagio, Caesar's...etc would all sponsor a team/stadium/casino.

If the conference doesn't qualify for AQ status, then it will only be a matter of time for our connections in Vegas to change that. I'm thinking Jimmy Hoffa style ;)

That is a horrible basketball conference are you kidding me?? The big 12 as it is right now is way better than that you just posted.

We could add Providence/St. Johns/Seton Hall/Villanova/Georgtown and Loyola for basketball, but none of them add that pazzaz the conference needs for the Northeast. Is there a University of Atlantic City, although, I could go for Maine Lobster every other year.

We probably shouldn't turn them into a decent 4 yr school though. Boise State might get jealous. I also thought about NYU. I think there is lots of Football potential there. Have you seen how athletic some of their dancers are? Just imagine if they put together a football program.

I don't know about Africa, but I wouldn't mind having a recruiting presence in Samoa. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the National University of Samoa has a football team.

I already weighed the options and the University of Djibuti was about the only school that looked like it would fit and I just couldn't justify only adding one African School.

I was thinking......perhaps this current conference doesn't have a big enough television footprint. My solution: Add University of British Columbia and University of Montreal and BAM....90 million Canadian viewers!

Yeah but then we'd have to change the conference name, a messy business, annexing the country might just be easier.
