Call me a geek for doing this but thought this might be interesting for some after reading about breaking the all time season ticket record.
I've been keeping track of Big (II)XII attendance figures for individual games since 2008, and for each team for year since 2003. (Just haven't had time to go back and fill in the rest)
Our home attendance figures this year are impressive. Granted the attractive home schedule helps but after hearing how many season tix we've sold, I think ISU may be turning an edge to Pack the Jack every game!
We're at 100.7% capacity average for the two games so far. Only others in the conference to meet that are typical Oklahoma and Texas along with A&M and KState.
Keep it up State!
EDIT: UPDATED for end of 2011 season
Things to note.
ISU Home Attendance: 321,880 over 6 games ISU Home Average: 53,647 - 7th in Conference (Ahead of Baylor, Kansas, KState)
ISU % Capacity (55,000): 97.54% - 4th (Behind A&M, Oklahoma, Texas;
Ahead of Baylor, KState and Okie Light who finished the season ranked)
ISU Away Attendance: 334,802 over 6 games ISU Away Average: 55,800 - Last in Conference (Can't really put much emphasis here, semi-apples to oranges comparison. We played at a few smaller, UCONN, Baylor, KState)
ISU Home & Away Total Attendance: 656,682 - 7th (Again, Ahead of Baylor, Kansas, KState) Home & Away Average: 54,724
Conference Attendance Total: 7,527,630
Thoughts?

Not bad, but I've been doing the same thing but have it graphed out by school. I've been tracking recruiting also.

Our stadium actually only has 43,000 seats, so our capacity percentage is 129%.

With the S end zone completed we will have a total of 52,382 seats in the stands. Not including standing room or hill side tickets for the north end zone. Also not including press box.

I'm going to make two assumptions. You have a lot of time on your hands. And based on your avatar you must be from Austin, MN. Both of these assumptions are not related to each other of course.

1. Not too much. I've been doing this over a long period.
2. Oink.

Actually, keep it up. Last year was sort of interesting: Baylor's best year in the Big 12 and they still were at 82% capacity, and lowest attendance by far.
