"Meet Mr. Bush" :D

Gus is not anywhere near as bad as Stuart Scott, but he's gotten much worse over the last few years. There's not drama in every game but he tries to force it in. His call of the BYU-Florida sweet sixteen game this year was just brutal. He was terrible throughout the game and it feels like he focuses more on getting his catchphrases in than following the action sometimes.
I don't ever recall him doing an ISU game. Was he even prominent at March Madness back when ISU actually played in the thing?
I'm guessing no, since there's been only 3 games in 11 freaking years.
Don't even get me started on how pathetic that is.
It'd be fun to hear him call a game and see how it sounds when "my team" is involved.
Too bad they cant mic in Gus over the stadium during the game.
Or use the gus soundboard online over the scoreboard.
Best basketball pxp ive ever listened to. Does GREAT with football as well. Total stud.
Exactly. I feel like I need to post another gus johnson vid just to balance out the hate from the 3 lame azzes who dont like Gus on this forum. You are not worthy! lol

Gus Johnson could never hold the towel used to wipe up the sweat dripping from Keith Jackson's compression shorts.
Just because he (Keith) did not go bonkers when Vince Young ran in the touchdown in one of the greatest college football games ever is testament to that fact. The moment was fine on its own. No flamboyant call would make it any better. It's what an announcer who has true journalistic qualities does. If you want flashy catch phrases, etc, watch X Factor.
Hope he's there so after I get home and "recover", I'll watch the cyclone victory on Sunday!! GO CYCLONES!!!
Gus is great, going to miss him during the NCAA tournament this year.
I have to say that his enthusiasm when coupled with the crowd noise in the basketball game seems appropriate. In the football clips posted when he is in a booth it just sounds like over the top screaming.
I don't mind him for BB - heck I think I even enjoy his call; for FB, not so much.
