    Gus Johnson

I know that his style is a bit polarizing, but I can't wait to hear what kind of things he does when calling the game next Saturday.

I bet he's already drooling over being able to say the name Steele Jantz again and again.

I'm glad I'm going to the game so I don't have to listen to his tiresome act.

Gus Johnson is great to listen to!

Would you rather have his "tiresome act" or the 'B' squad they put together for the UCONN game?

People watch games because Gus Johnson is calling them, more pub. for ISU. Can't be a bad thing.

No, anything (besides Pam Ward) can be better than the jokers that were on Friday night.

Personally, I have never heard Gus Johnson do a football game and will unfortunately miss this one as well (have tickets to Clemson @ VA Tech). But I hope he does well, we need more announcers of better quality of these games.

    Re: Gus Johnson

Not a fan of Gus Johnson, never have been, however, he would be better than the jokers we had for Uconn, Joel Myers and Joel Klatt would be just fine with me.

Some may call him Steeler for short. Our last crack announcer crew was able to wing it.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Calling a game with Steele Jantz just may cause Gus's head to explode.

My buddy texts me during the UCONN game and says "Could these announcers be any less exciting? I've heard more enthusiasm from a CSPAN book review"

My first thought on reading this? "Somebody actually watches CSPAN book reviews?"
