Last 3-0 start?
When was the last 3-0 start we had? I've been thinking back and can't remember (although I've only followed since 2002). Did we start 3-0 in 2005? I can't remember. Also, how about the last time we started 4-0 (you know, for when we whoop up on Bevo next week!)

Started 4-0 in 2000. Went on to finish 9-3.

And if it weren't for that stupid "no TD call" against FSU, we would have started 7-0 in 2002.

3-0 in 2005, then I think we started the conference season 0-3 including that horrific loss against Baylor.

khaal53:In the 21 seasons that ISU has started 3-0, they have finished below .500 3 times. 1999 (4-7), 1972 (5-6-1), 1970 (5-6). -

Giving (and I do mean giving) Baylor its first road conference win in the Big 12. It was a bad day. It must of kinda been like when we were beating Nebby and UT at their houses for their fans.

ISU would have been down one pending the PAT if the TD had counted. I recall McCarney saying that if they had scored the TD he was planning to go for two and the play he was going to use was the one they used on the last play of the game. Seneca got stuffed for a loss on it.
Not to say that it would have been a sure loss, but certainly not a sure win if ISU's score on that play was actually counted.

And we would have gone to a BCS bowl that year as well. How can I be so sure? Again, just trust me on this one... we would have.
