If true, the coaching staff is really doing well on the recruiting trail. I figured Rogers for iowa or an out of state school. I can't think of many times in the past 20 years that we've pulled a top recruit out of IC (Greg Coleman?).

Not all that surprising though...who wouldn't want to play for Paul Rhoads?

Edit: I know that iowa didn't offer, but my point remains - not many IC athletes have even considered the Clones.

Watching that highlight video just made me laugh thinking about how much smaller and slower the kids in state of Iowa's teammates are when you compare it to a recruit from Florida or Texas's highlight video. It's mostly noticeable in the lineman.

The kid is apparently not a native Iowan and has no ties to EIU other than living in ic. And they didn't offer him anyway.
