Good grief. Mike Singletary was only 6 foot. IIRC, he was a pretty good MLB. Larry Station was an All American at Iowa. Station was 5' 11". And Zach Thomas of the Dolphins is only 5' 11" as well.

Mark Benda played at an OLB at ISU. Benda was wider than he was tall.

I bet he runs 4.55 or so at the NFL combine. he is faster than any player we have on our team.

I've personally heard Chris Doyle say that McNutt was not as straight line fast as he appears and is a 4.7 guy. He's football fast.

But, it seems reasonable that he would lie to the face of 250 Hawkeye boosters. So, yeah,I think McNutt runs in the 4.5's.

It depends. Out of those 250 boosters, how many developed rhabdo immediately after he finished speaking? If it's any less than, say 20, then he's probably not lying and deserves another award.

Think about it the people who are in the combine are some of the best athletes in the world, the very cream of the crop, so to compare a 17 year old kids 40, who probably does not have a S&C program is so unfair!!! and mt85 hit it right on, the greatest wide out ever ran slower than 4.65... 40 times are very overrated! And this is coming from a sports performance coach

I was really hoping I didn't have to use a pirate. But I should have known there was at least one total moron.
