Hilarious Discusion Board on ESPN

I don't know if any of you have taken the time to read through some of the comments on the ESPN discussion for the Texas game this weekend but some of them are just outrageous. I realize the majority of the people using ESPN conversations are generally not the brightest but these Texas fans are especially clueless/arrogant. It's good for a few laughs though, especially posts by Longhorn4Life1 and bigfan424.....on one post Longhorn4Life1 claimed that he was trying to not talk about how good Malcom Brown is so it'd be a secret on Saturday, like our coaches would have no idea who he was if he didn't bring him up on this chat. I found it pretty comical

I don't know about anyone else, but I've been to a few Texas sites over the last day or so, and there's not a lot of chatter about this weekend's game. More about the Oklahoma game in two weeks. And the threads about Iowa State were oozing with arrogance. Kinda like, no way in h*ll they'll beat us two years in a row.

Not a lot of intelligence on either side of the convo there. My head now hurts from trying to interpret what some of those posts meant. Would've been better off staring at my keyboard for 5 minutes.

Oh that is too bad; the lack of appropriate formal education is palpable. I honestly feel bad for them. I also hope nobody from this board goes on there and attacks them personally, regardless of what they say.

At least TavernHoks reside mostly in Iowa. TavernHorns do cover a good part of the country.

I think it's funny that people are amazed at the arrogance. It's not like they don't have it for a reason. Why should they think that ISU can beat them two years in a row. They're TEXAS, a school who can fetch top talent on a whim. As far as they are concerned, it's a game their team should win, which is not a false statement. They SHOULD win. They're TEXAS.

Now, having said that, I hope we kick their greedy butts to the turf on Saturday.

Pantherhawk is my all-time favorite poster. better than lakes and, dare I say, Tuff as Rain.

The stuff he would say would make a troll blush. I think he was mostly on cbs or espn. I cant remember because he was banned so many times I think won the internets.

To be fair, I know most ISU fans think we have a chance, and the majority don't believe that ISU should be favored. Hopeful? Yes. 9 point line? Kind of steep. Ridiculous? Not really considering how much talent Texas has compared to what we have. But saying it's going to be a blowout when Texas has shown nothing this year, and have proven to be quite inept on offense over the past 2 seasons is crazy.

Then again, Longhorn fans, and the state of Texas in general, have inflated egos and act as if the world revolves around them. They are quickly angered by logic and any statement that refutes that Texas is a gift from God. They are tavernhoks on steroids, HGH, speed, and meth.
