Iowa State - Texas Game Sold Out
AMES, Iowa - Iowa State announced Monday that Saturday's game against No. 17 Texas that kicks off at 6 p.m. CDT in Jack Trice Stadium will be a sellout. Both teams are 3-0.

The only remaining tickets (fewer than 200) are single tickets randomly located throughout the stadium.

"Interest in our football program is high," Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard said. "Whatever the final attendance figure is Saturday, no team in school history will have attracted the crowds that this team has through the first three home games of any prior Iowa State season. It's a great time to be a Cyclone."

When we start averaging 56,000+ in November, then we can start thinking SEZ project... Would love to see it against Ok State for that Friday game, and think it is very doable if we continue to play well and win games this season.

Im curious how many we already have sold for TAMU. Id imagine that will have a good total as well, given our season numbers, minipacks for the last 3 games, plus homecoming usually bringing a good number that wouldnt have season tix.

Yeah.. no. Nobody waits until theyre selling out every game to expand... plus the SEZ project doesnt really increase capacity anyways, just gives people real seats and makes us not look so small-time.

Its purely a cash thing. We cant afford it now. When we can, it'll be done. I'm guessing if the b12 is still around we'll do it when the tier 1 contract is redone.

Permanent seats are already nearly sold out. It is time. Until you understand what the SEZ project does, don't give me the averaging 56k line.

Well to say expand after 3 games against "premier" opponents for ISU (UNI brings alot of fans/ was first game of season) is not right. You need to show consistent high support before Jaime will listen.
