Is Texas bringing their band?

I was at the ISU UT game in 2007 and they brought their band. Anybody heard if they are again? If so, we will have to get used to their cow bells and stuff they play in between every down!

I dont know what texas's plans are (i'm guessing a smaller pep band if anything), i know TAMU is not sending their band.

The same routine/lack of originality/lack of cheerleaders(f) brings it down.

Give me ours any day.

They do THE SAME THING every halftime. ISU's band brings a different show to every game. F aggie & their mason jar band.

Also, there are a LOT of current/former band members on this board that get VERY fired up over marching band threads.

I can confirm they ARE bringing their band. My dad drives for a tour bus company and they were contracted to bring them to the game from the Des Moines airport. He will actually be driving them.

I wish our band traveled to stadiums other than Kinnick.

I'm not going to get fired up about the marching band one way or another, but they're definitely one of those things that separates college ball from the NFL.
