UCLA in '10 & ISU in '11 = Trap games for Texas??

    Check this out:

In 2010: Texas beats Texas Tech on the road 24-14, then plays Oklahoma one game later in Red River rivalry - loses 28-20. In between those two games was UCLA who they lost by 22 points (34-12)

In 2011: Texas beats UCLA on the road 49-20, then plays Oklahoma one game later in Red River rivarly - TBD. In between those two games is ISU...

(Also, they lost their trap game against Kansas State in 2007 41-21 AT HOME)

you don't have to tell me that texas is over rated. they do have speed though. a lot of it. hopefully we can find a way to neutralize it.

You just have to dominate up front in the middle. Fastest way from point A to point B is a straight line. You don't go outside against speed without tricks or speed.

Not the same Texas team as last year. While we should put up a much better fight than a listless UCLA team did; Texas is coming off a bye week. I do not consider this game a trap for them at all.

If we can fix the penalties and turnovers, we will be much better off come Saturday. The UCONN game was a good tuneup for Steele.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

I am actually kind of glad that Steele performed the worst he could possibly perform in the first three offensive series of that game and yet produced a W somehow. I think he learned a LOT from that game. His own words:

"I'm the type of guy that really learns from mistakes"
