The Mizzou game is a must win if we are going to get to six. aTm, OSU and OU are going to smoke us. KU we should win and Tech is a toss up. I don't see us beating K-State but it's not out of the question.

Oh about 50 Big 12 Level players. Right now we have 6 or 7 and one is not our qb.

It could start by winning more games like the 2 ISU just lost. I don't think it's at the point yet when there's enough there to pull a true shocker (such as OU and probably OSU this season), so you have to win a few you think you shouldn't, and rarely drop a "should-win."

I guess maybe your question was a "how" rather than a "what."

An easier schedule. Last year we beat Northern Illinois and they went on to win every game that year. If we werent playing a top 5 or 10 schedule every year, we would be a 8 win team every year.

Why do you get on here? Most everything I've seen you post is anti-ISU. Your mocking of ISU during/after the Texas game wasn't enough?

I am going to get off topic here, but I just wanted to say that I totally agree that our talent pool of athletes needs to be stronger. But why dosent (cant?) ISU have those players? Is it the athletic facilities? Not enough alumni support/donations? Academic requirements of the university? Ames?

Other than the lack of wins and the national attention that OU and Texas get, I cannot figure out why ISU does not have better caliber players.
