You know what really grinds my gears? (Hint: It's Mizzou)

So we have to sit around and wait for Mizzou to decide whether to leave or not because they are so great because of their huge TV markets. They do so well in those TV markets that our game against them isn't on TV at all this week. I understand they have a lot of people in their viewing area, but how many are actually Mizzou fans? And how many actually tune into their games?

When they refer to themselves as MIZZOU. There are no freakin Z's in Missouri.

It just screams, look at us, we are hicks and prefer to change the spelling rather than pronounce it correclty.

It would be like Iowa refering to itself as IOWUH because some of them pronounce it poorly.

Oh, and I agree with your gear grinding rant as well.

Having grown up to the state just to the south of Iowa, it's much more annoying when they pronounce it "Missourah." Hillbillies.

Meh. If the Big 10 was interested in expansion and ISU was in the mix, we would be doing the EXACT same thing MU is. MU looked around and said, wow, this conference is jacked up. SEC just went to an odd number, so maybe they could use one more??

We should almost be thankful of what A&M and MU are doing. UT finally put together a revenue sharing package that is reasonable for all the smaller schools.

I hope MU stays and benefits from the leverage they have helped create.
