Shontrelle - Injury

I've heard that following an MRI his neck is actually worse than previous thought. There is a bulging disc that needs to be removed and he may have to get a couple of vertebrae fused. Things could get better, but as of right now it is not looking good.

My question. If we get an injury from Duck or White next, do we burn a RS off Nealy or Standard?

hard to say for sure but i wouldnt doubt it ... have to think cpr will put the best player out there that gives us the best chance of running the football and winning games ... or we could go the woody route for short yards and become a passing first offense ...

I think we could see Gary or maybe even West run it in emergency situations, but I'm pretty confident that wont happen as long as neither White, Hollis, or Woody get hurt in the same game.

From a football stand point, this is why you continue to recruit positions like running back. Injuries happen and you can going from having a full stable to beng thin pretty quickly.

1st and foremost, I hope he's physically fine for day to day life outside of football.

This is a blow to the team. Shontrelle runs hard between the tackles.
