Time to question the defense
Getting ridiculous...on pace for another 600 yard game.

Re: Time to question the defense
My give-a-damn for this season is about busted.

Re: Time to question the defense
Did that answer your question?
We got a new Marshall here in town, and his name's Paul Rhoads, and the times, they is a'changin'.

Re: Time to question the defense
I thinking we can question every single aspect of the team at this point.
Turnovers
Flags
No D (AK47 just pic6!!!)
No O
But we did have a nice kick return

Re: Time to question the defense
Not trying to defend our defense as clearly it has some issues but when your on the field as much as they are what do you expect out of them?
-
Re: Time to question the defense
Our offense is still the bigger problem. I don't disagree, but first things first, we have to score points to win. Our D is getting us the ball, our offense just can't do anything with it.

Re: Time to question the defense
So far, its defense 6 points, special teams 4 points, offense... well....

Re: Time to question the defense
350+ yards and 31 points in the first half. Not good.
It seems like since the Baylor game that our defense has tried to sell out against the pass and leave the running game wide open. And when it was blatantly obvious that it was a poor decision, we just decided to stick with it. And this is what we get.

You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment. The moral: you gain more by not being stupid, than you do by being smart. Smart gets neutralized by other smart people. Stupid does not. -
Re: Time to question the defense
They have more points than our offense.

Re: Time to question the defense
You know, we gave up a lot of yards to Utah and OU last year in back to back games too. Stepped up against Texas right after that though. With our talent level, that's going to happen sometimes. Not the stepping up, the giving up yards... we just can't hang with the big boys yet.

Re: Time to question the defense
Hard to remember when someone just lined it up and throttled it down our throats for 10 or 15 yards every play. We know what they are running and can't stop it.
Well, just have to regroup and try to get better for A and M. They just put up about 700 yards on Baylor, who we couldn't do much against.

Re: Time to question the defense
I can't believe just how terrible we are on defense. It's equally as bad as our offense right now.
