Re: JTS crowd prediction vs ATM
I guess 52,000. Homecoming, a beautiful day predicted, plus the last time we play aTm will mean we will have an extremely large crowd. IMO, the last 3 losses won't significantly impact the attendance for this game. It will be a great crowd.

Re: JTS crowd prediction vs ATM
This fanbase just needs a reason to explode. ISU could be just as successful as West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Missouri, etc etc.
Record sales for football and basketball all off hope. Imagine what attendance would be like with some sustained success. We will sell out the Jack every game, Hilton too.
Let's get it done CPR and Fred!

Let's get it done CPR and Fred! I've always thought that. Even when I brought my Uncle to the 2006 ISU-Toledo game he said the same. He was a student at Iowa during the Cummings years and saw the same thing at Iowa in the 1960-70's as Iowa State in the last 10 years. The difference has been that Iowa broke through while Iowa State has struggled to take that next step. Part of it is the difference in culture within the conference. It is much easier to break through against teams of similar mind and body in the midwest, but ISU plays in a quasi-SEC conference where mentalities are different. Winning is everything in Texas, not so much in the midwest. Part of it goes back to proper values and being raised right.
Sorry for the ramble, I'm drunk.

Re: JTS crowd prediction vs ATM
Anyone that thought there would be under 50k for this game given season ticket sales total is a fool.
50k was guaranteed with that total + homecoming.
Last two games will be tougher, but I would expect 42 - 48k at the last two games.

The ISU fanbase is as rabid and supportive as any in the nation...might not be the largest but we truly have a great fanbase. We set a season ticket record and blow away the 3 game crowd record coming off a losing season...one bowl game in six years?! Find me one single program that can say something like that..you won't find it.

Re: JTS crowd prediction vs ATM
The thing is, who knows how large the fanbase actually is? It's never been tapped out. Think about that.
